Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your feedback. Glad to hear that the method works for you.

Original cartridge for Epson R230 is very hard to refill due to its design. I have tried some methods available in the Internet but it's not reliable. Sometimes the ink leaks if you drill a hole at the bottom of the cartridge.

The more workable solution is to use replacement cartridge for R230. Try to find out the two parts cartridge made by sky horse or empty continous ink cartridge (CIC) at your area. I saw it sell at ebay. It's quite reliable and easy to refill too.

Cheers, hope this help.

anyway I forgot to mentioned that I was using continuous Ink cartridge.

also, how to refill the original cartridge of epson R230? I bought another unit and the cartridge is almost empty, can I refill it by myself using ink that I bought for my continuous cartridge before?

Thanks a lot. A pretty good advice, now i know when and how to perform head cleaning. Before I used to clean and clean and clean until I got tired of cleaning and I'm wasting too much ink. My printer is Epson Stylus Photo R230. I may ask an advice regarding to my printer that hard to feed. It can't feed anymore, it's almost 5 months old printer but used daily in a cafe. Thanks
