<ol>
<li>Turn <strong>OFF</strong> the printer.</li>
<li>Press <strong>B/W</strong> + <strong>Color</strong> + <strong>Stop</strong> button together and hold</li>
<li>Press Power <strong>ON</strong> button and hold (4 buttons on hold now and donâ€™t release the buttons until you see the light indicator is blinking. A message will be displayed on the LCD)</li>

Try following steps below but it depends on the printer model.</p>
<h4>Epson Photo R200, R210, R300, R310</h4>
<ol>
<li>Press and hold &#8220;Stop&#8221; button, follow by &#8220;Maintenance&#8221; and &#8220;Power&#8221; button together for 10 seconds.</li>
<li>Turn off the printer and unplug the printer for 1 minute.</li>
<li>Turn back on the printer and the counter will be resetted.</li>
</ol>
<h4>Epson All-In-One CX3100 and CX3200</h4>
<ol>
<li>Turn <strong>OFF</strong> the printer.Â </li>
<li>Press <strong>B/W</strong> + <strong>Color</strong> + <strong>Stop</strong> button together and hold.</li>
<li>Press Power <strong>ON</strong> button and hold (4 buttons on hold now and donâ€™t release the buttons until you see the light indicator is blinking. A message will be displayed on the LCD)</li>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>For those who has Epson Stylus C79, Epson Stylus Photo R270 or Epson Stylus CX3900 (All-in-one), you can reset the protection counter without any software.</p>
<p>Follow this steps and the protection counter will be resetted.</p>
<ul>
<li>Switch off the printer</li>
<li>Switch on the printer</li>
<li>Press once the ink button</li>
<li>Printer head move to left side</li>
<li>Press the ink button again</li>
<li>Printer head move to right side</li>
<li>The red light will be disapeared, the protection counter has resetted</li>
</ul>
<p>This instruction comes with printer purchase. Please give some comments whether this step is work.</p>

Here is the <a href="http://www.refillingcartridge.com/download-manager.php?id=5794006f-fa11-4f13-91d2-862d690c9717">resetter</a> program that I have found from the Internet. Unfortunately, I don&#8217;t have this printer so I can&#8217;t test it. Please share with me whether the program can reset your printer, either Epson C79, R270 or CX3900. Your feedback is really appreciated.</p>
<p>Here are the steps that you have to follow in order to reset your printer.</p>
<p>1. Make sure you printer is ON and connected to your computer<br />
2. Change your computer&#8217;s date to 1 Nov 2006<br />
3. Run AdjProg.exe file<br />
4. Click Accept button<br />
5. Click &#8220;Particular adjustment mode&#8221;<br />
6. Select on &#8220;Waste ink pad counter&#8221; and click OK button<br />
7. Click on &#8220;Initialization&#8221; button and the program will reset the protection counter<br />
8. Click Finish button<br />
9. Change your computer&#8217;s date back</p>
