		<description>Hi are you able to help with Model DX4050 to reset inkpad, I have a blocked head so using a bit of ink at the moment although I have redirected the waste ink to a tub at the back so not filling the pad. Appreciate any help thanks.</description>

iv got a D68 and have alternet flashing red lights betewwn the ink and paper buttons.

Iv downloaded the service utility but when i click reset protection counter i get &#039;Communication error&#039;

Im gutted as its been working wonderfully but now i cant seem to fix it.  Any ideas??? Am i just missing something silly?

I dont have an exact answer for this. You can turn off the printer and move gently the print head to home position by hand.
