Reset Protection Counter for Epson CX1500
Some people ask me whether I have a software to reset the protection counter for Epson CX1500 and yes, I have it.
I got the software from the Russian website long time ago (sorry I can’t remember the link).
I haven’t tried it because I don’t have this printer, so I couldn’t give you a feedback on how successful this software to reset the protection counter. Please help me to give a comment if you have tried the software (successful or failed story, welcome). Click here to download the software (1.31Mb). After you configured the software, just proceed to Step 5 (Waste Ink pad counter), please don’t touch other area of the software, it may damage your printer. Use at your own risk.
As I mentioned at my previous article, you are supposed to change/clean the sponge before you reset the protection counter to prevent ink spill from your printer.
