    I have an Epson PictureMate (PM 500) and when i turn it on, it displays that a must call tech Service ’cause there are parts that reached end of lifetime. So i’m trying to use the SSC utilty 4.30 but cannot reset the printer. Can u help me please?

    Hi Peter,

    I have tried to google the resetter for Epson D88 but couldn’t.
    Have you try to reset your printer using SSC utility? Just in case you don’t know the link, http://www.ssclg.com/epsone.shtml

    Hi Edar,

    I noticed from SSC website, it can reset the picturemate printer, but the website didn’t mention the model that the resetter can reset it.
    Probably ask the SSC forum will help.

    Your problem is not very clear. What is the status monitor program tell you? Does the light in your printer blinking?

    Hello,
    I used the AdjProg for CX8300 printers to reset cartridge counters on a EPSON DX8450 but i made a mistake. I used the “Initial settings” option so it reset the EEPROM to the CX8300 chineese default eeprom ! ( I am shamed )
    Can anybody read the EEPROM of a french or english version of a DX8450 with the AdjProg and send me the file so I could rewrite my printer EEPROM ? If you don’t have the AdjProg for the CX8300, let me know and I will provide you.

      Perhaps, people who read this blog and has this printer can help dombou.

      Dombou, could you provide a simple guide to people here on how to export the EEPROM into a file so that they can pass to you.

    I just refilled my hp 901(hp officejet 4500) black cartridge.
    But don’t know how to reset the ink level.(or reset the chip)
